Noticed on Formula website 382 only listed Fastech shown .... read where they will still build one on order but looks like the end is near .......

Nothing new there. Formula obviously does not want to build performance boats anymore. They have been cutting down the fastech line starting in 2002. The whole market has shifted to boring outboard powered boats. Jeff wurl

I started a thread a few weeks ago. The 292 will be discontinued in less that 2 months, they are still producing the 353 but since they pulled it off the website, I think it's also on borrowed time. It's a shame... I love my Fastech.

I don't think it is a matter of Formula not wanting to build performance boats anymore. I bet they would love to be cranking them out. Problem is nobody is buying them.

Last few years I've heard that all Fastechs were on a made to order basis. Keeping nothing in stock. That's why they didn't have any Fastech models at boat shows. Not until they made the 353 stiletto did they start displaying one. Catalogs were same pictures several years running just changed digitally to update one of the accent colors. Writing was on the wall.
