F4 on Lake Wylie NC/SC
99% sure I saw a red F4 out on Wylie this past week. I was at my home on the shore so I couldn't get a real good look, plus I haven't seen one before in the first place. Anyone know who owns that boat? I'm assuming it is a new acquisition for someone. Sure looked nice going by.

I saw him yesterday on Big Allison. I’ve lived here just over a year and saw him once last summer and yesterday. I’m pretty sure it’s the illmor f4. Don’t know who he is but it sounded healthy and looked good running.

That's exactly what I was wondering. To be honest I've never heard my ilmor motors, or any ilmor boat from shore. There was another loud V8 running the opposite direction when he passed but I had a suspicion that maybe it wasn't merc V8 power in it?!? The boat also had a rooster tail but it wasn't throwing it very far like other surface drives I had really ever seen.
