Default Non-OEM Trim Relay

My trim was acting funny this Sunday. Got to the ramp and it wouldn't trim up. It go down, but not up. I am able to get one instance of up if I wack the relay with a wrench. OK so easy right? Old sticking relay, replace move on. Except this is not like any of the parts in seeing that came with either motor that has been in this boat. 1996 cobalt 253, currently has an 8.1 gxi-d with a DP-S. Factory motor was 7.4 of some kind, all anecdotal from the previous owner, I think it was VP.

What is this? Where do a get another or suitable replacement. Rewiring isn't an issue, it's a relay, but everything I'm finding is OEM for something and not universal

There was a piece of duct tape covering these contacts.

I don't see why I couldn't cut the connector off this and make it work. Seems like its just up, down, and ground. Then one for one with the terminal lugs

And this looks more like the factory Volvo design and a ton cheaper

that was screwed to the bracket with 1 screw that was newer than all the other screws because it was not rusty at all.

I looks like a reversing motor relay/solenoid box.

I'm mean that's all any if the OEM boxes are really. Actually basically the same as my winch control on my rock crawler. I was more asking if this was maybe an old VP style that I can't connect the dots on, or maybe a mercury version. Would be nice to plug and play a direct replacement. But I found two alternatives if thats not an option.

any idea how many amps the hydraulic pump draws? The cheaper of the two is only 30A

Is there any reason this wouldn’t work for a hatch actuator? I’m pretty sure my Baja just runs power through the switch and not much Juice is left for the motor.

100% would work for that. Any reversible motor within the amp rating of the relays
