Default 2016 6.7 Cummins Turbo/exhaust leak

Noticed this yesterday, has anyone had this or seen this on their 6.7?
Thanks,
Dean

Coop,
Well that sucked for you, and I too wouldn't trade my 6.7 for anything, just a pulling monster.... Still waiting to hear from the dealer, I'll be calling them here after lunch... And I have lifetime drive train warranty on my truck.....BTW, what was wrong with the turbo?
Thanks,
Dean

vgt accuator or the vgt itself in the turbo. Common I am told. Ram stepped up and covered parts only. A huge help that they didnt have to do.

I will be taking care of the EGR system soon....

I wanted to try to do a cleaning of the turbo but I wasnt going to pass up on the offer of free parts.

Wellll, dealer called and said it was ready for pick-up, asked about the exhaust leak, they said their diesel tech drove the truck, and it was NOT an exhaust leak, ROAD GRIM, or something like that. I said I don't think so, wife had to pick it up, too busy at work for me to do it. Cleaned the area, took a video cleaning area of the exhaust soot, with date/time hack, and will monitor it. If/when it comes back, back to the dealer with video. I use my exhaust brake, on FULL, all the time, been reading some Dodge/Cummins forums where other owners have manifolds leaks, and they too run the exhaust brake on FULL, dealer told one of the guys to not run the exhaust brake all the time in FULL, WTF?...... so, we'll see, I drove it to work today, Ex. brake on full, and going to pick up the 30 Spectre' out of storage, on the way home, around 90 miles round trip, and I'll check when I get to the house....

Delete it all! Jk... or am I? I run my exhaust brake all the time, but I am deleted. No issues thus far. I don't know if you are tuned or not, but I use EFI Live with mine and man...the exhaust brake is a beast! Comes on quicker and stays on longer. In tow haul I can damn near come to a stop with just the EB...

I was told that it is the best way to maintain the turbo is with the use of the brake.

Do you get any exhaust soot on whatever you're towing, more so on long hauls, when emissions are deleted?
