You use a dual stage where a standard water pump doesn't have enough supply where for example, beside everywhere else the water is needed you are also running a chiller. Y'all know if you're running boost based on having the air chilled and that intercooler starves for water they'll be detonation and potential, almost certain catastrophic failure.

Perfect example. Don't most mid/upper hp SC Mercury engines come std with. They don't necessarily have to be a one purpose use. Engine, chiller, tranny, exhaust.... Plumbed correctly you never have to fear dead dik on the water either. That's an awesome deal.

sorry for the delay in responding. Not part or model #. Can find them on KPM website which gives the specs. Pictures do no justice. They are brand new and beautifully made pieces. That said I suppose it depends how many things you’re cooling, chiller, heat exchanger, exhaust.....
