The family and I are looking at a 405 Performance and I'm interested in knowing where the core was used in the hull. Specifically I'm asking if it was used below the water line or if the hull is solid glass from the water line down?
Thanks in advance, Ken

^^^^^ Bingo Sea Ray industries a divison of Brunswick owned Baja at the time all the cracked liners took place and their easy way out was filing for bankruptcy to avoid the many issues of crack liners and other warranty work. The Brand stopped all production. Then Baja was pushed onto Fountain boats around the 2010 era and that did not last long at all - Baja went out again as I believe maybe at most less than 10 Baja were built under Fountain. It really has never came back since then. Yes I know some are being built currently but who owns one a 2018 build retail wise ?
Added info since around late 2006 / 2007 thru to the first closure of Baja the finish was not the best either. Should say the ones I worked on for service and even warranty repair for those build timeframes .

Thanks for the feedback. I did speak with a former Baja employee that was in the lamination department during the 405 years. He advised me of the same issue with the liner noted above. I've moved on to Cobalt and Formula to find what we're looking for.
