wondering what performance lowers are out there that bolt on a bravo and what kind of Hp will a bravo live at on a smaller boat like a 21? Thx for any info, rm

A stock XR/XZ lower will hold as much power that you’ll be able to effectively utilize in a 21’ boat, and the’ll go as fast as you’ll want to go in a 21’ boat

$2500-3000 used
Really no benefit to aftermarket lower unless you are 80+ mph.

i want to run at close to 100mph on flat water
and 70s in mild chop.

The main benefit of installing a new lower is IF your prop is TOO low. The shorter lower will raise the prop shaft height and cause less drag and more speed.
I am running an IMCO -3 lower.
The upper is the weak point in a Bravo drive.

so it’s the easier way to raise your X dimension. Can you run spacers if it raises it too much. To get the sweet spot? Thx for the info
