Default How fast can you tow a Sea-Doo

I know this sounds crazy but this is a serious question, can I tow a Sea-Doo 40-45 mph?

I have towed mine several times at 35 mph. I do have a ball valve installed on the hose when doing so. Have a 100 foot of 3/4 double brad to get it behind the wake

I towed an 18' Hobie Cat at 50 MPH behind the Donzi. Does that count?

Sure you can

should you? I’ve done it but it probably wasn’t a good idea in retrospect

Both my newer SeaDoos have had stern warnings that you had to pinch off the water lines in order to tow them. I'd do some research. I assume the danger is sucking water into the exhaust collector and then back into the engine

I know a guy that did and didn't pinch off the water lines and filled the hole block up with water.

Long tow rope, close off water intake, come off plane slowly so the thing doesn't catch up and hit you!

The important thing is can you tie up a boat dock for 45 minutes while you learn to back a trailer down the ramp in rush hour.
