good day guys
just sold my 2000 fountain 35, lookin to get a 35 /38 zr.
wonder if a 2007 zr would be wood construction and did i read correctly that they are kevlar ??
-fountain stopped using wood around 2008, wonder when donzi stopped using wood ??
any info is appreciated on the zr's .

Nothing wrong with any zr in those years that I know of. Good boats

Someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong but I recall reading somewhere that Kevlar was only used on the deck.

As I understand it the stringers and bulkheads are all kevlar over foam... i.e. no wood and very strong. The hull is glass. Haven't heard of any hull issues on the ZR or ZX line 2000 or later... likely much earlier than that to be honest... like 90s and onward
