NPBA BRUNCH RUN Oct 14th LI Sound
National Powerboat Associations 27th Annual ‘BRUNCH RUN AROUND MANHATTAN’ HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FORSunday, Oct 14, 2018.
Rain date is Sunday October 21
At 12 NOON we gather at Buoys 27 / 27A 'Gangway Rocks'', (where we start and finish the MARATHON AROUND LONG ISLAND), thePACEBOAT will display theAMERICAN FLAG.
We head west and go down the East River then stop and regroup at the basin then proceed Up the Hudson,stop and regroup at Spuyten Duyvil Bridge, make a right onto the Harlem River, which is a no-wake zone, and then go through the ‘Hell’s Gate’ then make a quick left back to Long Island Sound.
We pass Riker’s Island and LaGuardia Airport on our starboard side…under the Whitestone Bridge we go, and then under the Throggs Neck Bridge we go, ….….keep ‘Execution Rock Lighthouse’ to your starboard side as you initially travel North on Long Island Sound, …also keeping Little Neck Bay to starboard. Then we go to Manhasset Bay Marina for libations, food, and ‘Chit Chat’…

Great pics Sam!!!!! Thanks for posting!! That is a sweet fire fox. Awesome to see Pete in the original instigator! That would have been my highlight of the day. Kudos to who took you out! That should definitely give u some motivation to work on the boat and hustle to make it happen!
