Cool Man, it was a beautiful weekend for boating!

Ran over 140 miles this weekend, went out both days, Sat. it was a little flat, Sunday, the wind blew up a little and made it PERFECT!!!
Even started painting the dock, so I got a little work in also.
Have a great day!
MD

I ran over to a local Island this weekend for a halloween party. A lot of fun but very cold around 50 deg. I think I saw a couple of Penguines out there! Mabey it was just the brain freeze!

Scott,
You sound like you are "Hard Core" boater!
I remember boating in ski jackets, hats, etc when I lived up north!
You should move south like we did!

My Dad used to wait till mid November to take the boat (36' ChrisCraft) from Toms River to Point Pleasant (Johnson Bros.) for storage. He'd leave the cockpit cover on and we'd open the engine hatches so the heat could drift up to keep us warm. It was noisy, but warm.

Ahh but you guys will never get the thrill of the last ride. 50 degree weather, oh the engines are finally making some horsepower.....Who am I kidding, just setting myself up for those 95 degree days when the boat is all sluggish again.........

Mr. V.
Ahh, not to fear, we will get our 50-65 Deg. days this winter, and yes the HP500 runs SOOO GOOD in that kind of weather!! We'll be out there running the ICW in sweat shirts/pants, come back to the dock, put the boat back on the lift and flush and clean her, BUT then we JUMP IN THE HOT-TUB!!!MD
BTW, you have a very nice boat!

Right on Guys...Keep boating as late as the boat will allow!

In Jersey, we'd boat right up until the very last day without freezing something solid....My face never hurt so bad, but it was worth it.

And like Dean said...We'll get our sweatshirts once or twice this year.

Still boating up here in Virginia.....and hopefully some more to do yet. And that is in 70 degree heat. Can't wait to see what she does in 55 - 60 degree air!!
