I have TrimSync Race Edition on my 28 Skater and it really works great! I never have to look at my trim gauges anymore. With steering mounted trim "blinker" switches, one (right side) for manually trimming both motors and the other (left side) with presets that I set at neutral and the other preset approximately two degrees negative trim, all I have to do is touch the left blinker up on down to set the motors at those pre set positions exactly, every time. I now have less to do while driving the boat which makes a much safer and enjoyable ride! Mike at MDC is great to work with as well.

While the article focus’s on sport cats, I would think that this devise would be just as important in a high performance V. This may be especially true with the aggressive stepped hulls as you can set up for a safe turn with just a click of the switch. I would think that it would lower the chance of a spin out greatly.

In the near future, TrimSync will be installed in new 39-foot, quad-outboard Nor-Tech center console. I plan on reporting on that as well.
