Default Need an Stage 2 Waterpump with Shorty at SCi or not??

Hello
First i think to update the oem waterpump on my SCi to an Stage 2 pump to get more water trough engine and intercooler!
But i will now also add an Sportmaster or Imco lower this winter. I hear now that they make much more water in the engine as oem Dualwaterpickup lower.

Is it then ennough water for motor and intercooler with standart waterpump?
My intercooler has bigger 10AN fittings for more flow and in the CMi exhaust outlet are the standart merc restrictors, that can be take out or drill bigger if pressure go to high with an Shorty!

Please let me know your meaning about this !!
Regards.Michael

At moment its orginal like merc built.
IC takes water from main hose. With an T fitting. This is after main oilcooler gascooler and t is in the steeringoilcooler!
But this i will reroute,so the take off for the IC is then direct after the waterpump!
By the way,as you know this engines have closed cooling and i have no temp probs!
Watertem and oiltemp is very perfect at driving, but i know i get now much more pressure with shorty!
is it enough to make more water flow to make the headers in an cold range??
The header at backbord is allway a bit hotter the starbord! this is why the header gets water after exchanger from the closed collering!I hope to get the both lower with more pressure from shorty and open restictors! did it work in this way?
or better also new stage 2 pump?
Michael
