Okay I want to rebuild this 350 and it needs a new roller cam lifters valve springs and rings and main bearings and rod bearings. where can I locate the best price parts for a farmer rebuild that I want to do on this 350 to get the most that I can out of this snotty small block. Plan on rebuilding the vortec heads and using the stock EFI throttle body for now. Can't afford to go Gonzo first build. This 5.7 going in a 20' cig I'm restoring.

How many hours on it ? Looks like it is raw water cooled, will most likely need cylinder heads
They get corroded around the big water passages to the point of no return. New heads are not that expensive. Put a set of stainless intake valves in them. The stock exhausts are fine. Your machine shop should be able to source you a rebuild kit with all the parts you need for a decent price. I know I can generally match most of the online prices and that way you make sure you are getting the correct stuff.
Main thing is like Dodge said you need to get it apart first and see what it needs.

yes I'm buying new heads and cam- lifters. Shortblock I'm rebuilding that part at home. Needs no boring, just rering and bearings, pump.
Biggest? Is cam specs, anybody?. Stock cam just isn't enough for headers I plan to buy. Hardin marine marine stainless.

I would like to get 425 hp. Thus the headers so she breaths. This is just the starter motor for rerig of my 20' cig. Maybe after a season of use I will pull and put 650 hp snotty small block using my hardinheaders.
so the biggest roller cam im after within bounderies of stock shortblock.
And yes I will bore at least 30k .
