Default need help with 496 cam ID

working on a Pleasurecraft 496 that is far from pleasure. motor sank and the cam is pretty rust pitted. anyone know if the cam is the same as something else or have one for this. only numbers on it are 5075 and 0339. hoping to find a good used cam and lifters so this thing can run again and owner is on a budget like all of them. thanks

I think a lot of the 496s had stock GM cams.

Ya, you would be better off just picking one.

I am sure it is a nothing cam but as this is a twin and computer controlled I am hoping to be able to find what this is so I can make sure not to have any other issues. this boat is a problem child thanks to the owner not listening and creating a bigger and bigger problem. now I have to fix all he f-ed up to try and get it to run more than 10 min like before when he had someone else and his buddy working on it.

I would call Raylar. They should be able to give you specs and might have some takeouts.

You need to make sure to get the correct one because of the crank reluctor wheel on the crankshaft. I have all that info but i am away and do not have any of that in front of me.

What would the crankshaft reluctor have to do with the camshaft?
