Crane 168731 or 168741 cam.
Comp 929 springs
GM lifters should work

What intake? Can't tell 100% by the pic.

The famous 741 cam would be my choice as it's proven over and over again in that cubic inch range. If you wanna wake it up find a good set of 305 to 315 cc aftermarket heads. Not sure what HP your looking for however 600 plus is easily achievable.

Crane 741 cam and Isky 8005 springs would be my choice.

A cleanup on the heads and a larger intake valve will help with the cam upgrade. The 2.19 valve is small for a 502 bore.

the heads really are holding it back,a set of engine quest heads and a crane 741 cam will get you 600 hp with 9.5 to 1 c/r.
