Default 42 Bimini

Curious if anyone has put a Full Bimini with enclosures on their 42x or Lightning, if so any pics or comments would be appreciated.
Thanks, Brent

A couple on Cumberland put a full Bimini on their 42 Lightning. The boat has 1075's - not sure how fast they could go with it up.

I've seen one at LOTO. The boat had 496's.

Thanks for the reply, Do you store yours in the engine bay or leave it up or laying on the sun pad? I'm not concerned about driving with it up. Just for shade and then at night. We treated our last boat like a camper and plan to do the same thing with the next. Really thought we were done with the Go Fast style until the kid moves out, but I think we've been sucked back in, so I know we will want the extra space at night regardless of weather...

I like that. What is make, model and size of that top? How fast do you run with it up?

Thanks, Andy

Gilman Canvas in Dayton, Ohio custom makes them. He can make the just the bimini or add eisen all around and has made them with rear camper cover. This is probably the tenth one he has made me. Over the years as the boats got bigger we have learned to add rear cross supports and windshield brace. I travel with mine up at around 65 mph max. Anymore and it gets loud.
