I need to have my Swim platform repainted. I would like to remove it from the boat for prep and paint. Is it possible to get to the bolts with the motors still in the boat?

I would imagine so. I had mine switched out to the larger one on my 29 Outlaw and I am sure he would have told me if that was necessary.

I replace the swim platform on my 36 Outlaw myself. No need to remove the motors. Its not a bad job.

Aren't these lag bolted to the transom? Did you have any issues getting these SS lags out without shearing them?

Only the 4 on the legs at the bottom are lags. All the top bolts are thru bolts. It's about a 1 hour job with 2 people one to hold the bolt and one to remove the nut.
