About to start rigging my latest (and hopefully last) project. 31 footer. New transom and stringera and installed 4 knee braces. 325 hp reflashed vrods. 8 inch jackplates. Gen 1 torquemaster dwp lowers w/1.25 shaft and 1.75 gear. Motors are at lowest point in pic. Middle of Side pickups even with bottom. Can go up nearly 8 inches. Hoping to see 75 mph. Ive seen These boats run 90s with 300 merc 2 strokes.
any guesses on speed and fuel economy?

If I had to guess motors look low compared to a I/O setup with bravos. That boat picked up a ton of speed when they went to shorties before. Not sure how different OBs are. I would think propshafts even with the bottom to start

The x is def low right now. But as I said...I've got the engines in the lowest position right now. I can go up as high as 1.5 inches above the running surface. I think I will end up running an inch or so under the bottom before I start losing water
these lowers aren't going to allow rinning above bottom...but they dnt nred to. ..the tm case is good running at regular depths (provided good water pressure ) up to 85 + mph. Running a surfacing lower under 85 is going to yield marginal results if any on an ob boat. I don't see this boat going over 85.
