Default Key West In The Balance

The Request For Production for powerboat races in Key West is supposed to be released this week or next. And then things get fun, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...in-the-balance.

From the OSO home page.

Not saying that couldn't happen, but the race dates—first full week in November—have been well-established so that Key West and the cruise lines do business without significant interruption.

I have been told that if the RFP is released this week or next the matter could be decided by the Key West city commissioners by mid- to late-February.

same here ,been going there so long I wouldn't know what else to do that week,,to me the boat races are a bonus to my KW trip, besides like I have said before (and got a lot of $hit over it) the races are nowhere near as fun as they were 7-8 years ago,now days you waste more time waiting for the boats to come around then anything else, but still wouldn't want to be anywhere else that week,

They better not change the dates. When it was a week later back in the day it really pushed into the Thanksgiving time for most of us.
