Does anybody have any experience with what to cover the top edges (front and sides) with something better or more durable than the delicate padded vinyl? Covering with towels helps before covers go on, but still not the best result. Open to replacing with some sort of plastic extrusion? What to you guys think? Stealth

Don't know about that but would that fairing be the same as a 32? Can you post a picture, I would love to get one made.

Thought about trying a 3 inch in dia.swim noodlle, splitting it to fit over edge. Maybe my best option. Tired of redoing the pads ever so often. Thanks for your help.

We made a pool noodle "barrier" around our pool for our blind dog. She's tiny, just needed a bumper as to where not too go. After a few months in the sun and weather, they started crumbling and disintegrating.
I'm certain that under a good cover, that this would be delayed at the least, or maybe not even an issue. Just wanted to share our experience with such; because that powder they turned into was a giant mess.

If you have a really taut cover, you don't want to have too thick of padding which will put undo stress on the windscreen/faring, especially when trailering with the cover on.
