I for one will be following the poker run if the events split. There's no denying the draw to have the poker run there is larger than a stand alone world race(s). This isn't the 80's / early 90's race scene anymore. Racing doesn't draw the crowds like they used to. I'm not trying to offend any racers or be disrespectful to the sport, it's just a matter of fact. Not to mention, a stand alone poker run event for FPC could prove to be GIANT. Street party, destination runs during the week, expanded vendors area, maybe even exhibition speed runs or shoot out?? Just thinking how a loss could be turned to a win. Or, better yet, whomever gets the racing venue should be doing everything in their power to keep the two events together.

The FPC dates of Nov 6-12 are confirmed then?
