Sebago Lake Frye Island ME

Looking for info on Frye Island. Been wanting to build a house in a neat unique Lake spot. Pros Cons what should I look out for. Thank you

Cons. ; ferry only with a car. Ferry not cheap. seasonal. Pros. Cheaper property cost. Golf course. Nice beaches.

Seasonal

The seasonal thing is what’s really bothering me. Like to use it Easter and Thanksgiving. They always **** down end of April beginning of November? Or is it depending on ice? Family has a house on Great Pond in Belgrade more laid back, one restaurant on the lake that’s it. Was thinking Sebago have more going on especially for the kids.

Island shuts down before Thanksgiving. That being said its a fantastic spot. Multiple beaches a nice restaurant and bar. Golf course is always in great shape and also as a fun clubhouse bar.
