Default Cockpit Cover

Going to have a new cockpit cover made and was wondering what the factory used for material on the sport covers. Also what is the best material for a trailerable cover. Looking at sunbrella and weather max 80.

We use the Weathermax on the CCX boat covers but do not trailer with these on. Due to the high amount of paint, sometimes the covers can chafe the paint. We used to go with the Sunbrella on the sport boats. I know you can get some canvas materials that have a soft backer on them to help protect the paint, but the cost is much more.

Ok!
Thanks that's what I was wondering about is messing up the paint.

Where can I purchase a cockpit cover for a 2003 Sunsation 288 MCOB? I only have the cover for the open bow...

You can try contacting our old canvas supplier. Bill Bird - 586-469-7062. Just let him know what boat you have and the color.
