Default Boating near Mobile AL?!? Help please

Hello - We're from outside of Buffalo, NY and are big power-boaters in our area. We're traveling in 2 weeks to Mobile AL/Pensacola FL area and looking to spend a day or night at a waterfront. I'm not familiar at all with the area, is there any waterfront area that you'd recommend to watch some nice powerboats and/or grab a bite to eat?

Thanks in advance

Try reaching out to REDNECKCUSTOMS here on OSO, he lives and boats in that area and knows it well.
Have a great time.

I currently live in Pensacola, I try to be around the water as much as possible but, seeing as though my Nortech isn't even in the mold please bear with me!
Not too familiar with Mobile atmosphere (I mean...it's Alabama)
The Wharf in Orange Beach is a solid venue, they just hosted their boat show this past weekend. The FloraBama- North- Yacht club side has a great bar and beach for boats to beach and view of the busy water. That may be one of your best options.
In Pensacola, really Pensacola Beach is where you'll see most boats around the sound/bay. Albeit, not as close as Florabama or the wharf. Waterfront Restaurant wise, bamboo willies is always a good time, hemingways, Flounders, and then there's hooters....
If you trek another hour east of Pensacola, you'll run into Destin which is ALWAYS a good time but much further away.

hope this helps.
