I wont an advice for appropriate prop on my 29 fever run 78 presently with maximus 5 blade and ssm bottom with ITS box extention . I dont know x dimention but i tink 19 .expect to reach 85.. normaly with the upgrade 600sci to 700 computeur box and wheel ive change 2 years ago. Love the boat but enable to set props n drive for good mix of launching and top end . Lot of choice about pitch size of the news max 5 short tube 15" (inboard recommandation size) about 28 ( wath im running presently with maximus left’) to 34 pitch . Anywone can help me about appropriate size of props or spacer set up. Heard about 575 running 83 with long drive bravo .. i rev 5300rpm 78mph shorty sportmaster drive with ITS BRAVO XR 1.50 gear ratio

Your missing 500rpm if you did a stage 1 upgrade. Have you physically confirmed you have 1.50 gears? My Fountain performance report said 1.50, in reality its 1.36 which is better with 600SCIs and Stage upgrades anyway. With 1.36 you run a smaller prop, than with 1.50, and the drive will live longer. I run stock Maximus 32 cut down 1/8" with leading edges sharpened. Fully Labbed props I break blades and tired of it. Not the same exact boat but may give you some info.

Just rebuilt all the drive before winter .. not exactly sure its 1-50 but its wright on fountain sheet factory report.. boost is 5-6 lbs on smart craft and rev max 5350 maybe .. you tell me with programation im suppose to see 5800?

My Fountain factory report said 1.50 and it was really 1.36. Confirmed when my drive lowers were taken apart for rebuild. Another Fountain owner with 600SCIs I know had the same thing on his report, wrong gear ratio. On the RPM question, with a Stage upgrade your limiter is set at 5850. This is from the Whipple 600SCI Stage 1 upgrade: The Whipple Stage 1 system is a computer recalibration that increases the maximum power by more than 100HP* and 90 pounds of torque*. Whipple also increases the low rpm power range for a significant decrease in plane time and a noticeable gain in acceleration. The factory rpm limiter is also increased, giving customers the ability to greatly increase top speed MPH while running original props. The stock RPM limit of 5400 is modified to 5850rpm where peak power ends.
I would say try a stock Maximus 32 and go from there. A stock Maximus 30 was not enough on my application, I was on the rev limiters really fast.
