I know the RPM 26 Redline was admired by a lot on this forum so for those who aren't aware, Lavey Craft has the molds and has two new builds in production (another Mercury 700/#6 and twin Merc 400R’s) and they just finished rigging up the full carbon fiber boat that Joe at RPM had.
Being that this is the first single engine #6 drive setup that Lavey has ever done they took it easy on the first test runs. They didn’t have any solid references to know where to setup the X dimension so it was set higher than they felt was necessary because it’s much easier to space the drive down rather than going up.
For the first water test everything went perfect! There was zero handling issues that are common with a single surface drive setup running a big cleaver. The only issue they had was the prop was too high so the slip was high and couldn’t get the speed out of it before hitting rev limiter. They are now working with spacers to find the sweet spot. I’ll post updates as they come!
The builds of the RPM 26 Redline by Lavey Craft will be posted in the "Lavey Craft" owners forum. Also, if any of you will be attending the Desert Storm Poker Run, this boat will be out there for the street show and demo rides all week and weekend at Lake Havasu!

I agree! That will have to wait a little bit. Lavey is currently in production of another Merc 700/#6 setup and a twin 400R setup

The Redline is a great rough water boat. I boat in the Chain of Lakes & on a given Sat or Sunday there 2 ft. chop going in every direction. Boat runs right over the top of them.
I have a 2018 with twin 300XS For Sale. Warranty to 2022. asking 146K [email protected]

until 2022 & asking 146K [email protected]

Best speed so far has been 108 MPH 5063 RPM and still accelerating but ran out of lake. Expecting to easily run 110+ MPH with more space. This is with the STOCK Mercury Racing 700 SCi and M6 outdrive.

Lavey Jr.
Are you able to share where you finally landed with (X-Dimensions) & final Prop configuration?
Very Nice Build
