Default Cigarette t/s drive spacers

Im currently running 1 inch drive spacers and -2 lowers on my 2003 top gun with its. Does anyone know if I switched to 1/2” drive spacers if I would pick up any speed? Would I gain enough rpm to go up to a bigger set of props? Looking for someone with real world experience.

IMO, a half inch won't give any significant gains. It may even slow you down because of increased propslip.
No real world TS Gun experience, but its still only a 1/2 inch.

I appreciate your input. I’ll probably just leave it alone.

I'd say depending on the wheels you have on the boat, you will have trouble getting on Plane in rougher water because of the prop slip and x dimension They won't bite as easily. You might pick up 1MPH, but that is all. The x dimension on the TS are really set at a good spot. I personally wouldn't spend the money. I run -1 IMCO's on my TS.
