Default Creepy steering twin BBC/Bravo

I have a '94 31 Scarab twin 454/Bravos with stock cable steering. Going into my second full season with the boat. Stock cable power steering. Let go of the wheel on plane and if youre a little off centre to the left the wheel will go hard left on its own and the boat will just take off. Same on the right. Ive had stern drive boats for over 20 yrs and the drives are not all loose and there is a tie bar. I have noticed around the docks the power steering is REALLY easy. Like one finger easy. Im wondering if you could get a little tension in the steering (make it a little harder to turn the wheel) it might give it some stability at speed. thx Here's the set up.
