I have beeen going to this race since 2012 and this year by far was the best. Turn out was great, the weather couldn’t have been better.
The longer course was a good addition and the beach was packed. Even in season I have never seen so many out.
JJ’s party the night before the race was very nice and to cap it off with a win the next day had to make his weekend.
And Nick running shadow pirate to a win by himself was very impressive.
Both good guys, nice to see wins for them.
I was bummed LSB didn’t get the 40 fountain going, would like to see some boats in that class.
Can’t wait for Sarasota.

Story update: Fast Boys actually slipped by LSB/Hurricane (reported Guardian issues) near the end of the race. The story has been updated.
All apologies for any confusion my error may have caused. None of us in the broadcast booth caught it, but that's no excuse.
