What can anyone tell me about the oil weight and anything else I can learn? There is no dip stick, how full do you put it?

Well there should be a dipstick in the dipstick tub. You can use a good quality 10w-40 or straight 30w if the ambient temp is warm all the time. The engine is actually a Suzuki. Try looking at Browns Point site for a DF40 1999.
