I have the same problem with the lift on my 2002 288 sunsation engine lift. Would like to know where to start checking as well. Been just lifting by hand since I bought the boat 2 years ago! I was thinking of starting with the switch

We did finally figure out the issues. For some reason Sunsation put the line for the hatch lift into the trim tab pump. We had a small leak so replaced the pump - removing one of the cylinder guts on the new pump and BAM the hatch works
