Hey everyone, new to the forum, I just recently purchased this boat and have been told it is somewhat of a special boat. It is a 1984 Chris Craft 312 Stinger 312 SL called the Knytex Stinger. It was raced by Dick Genth in the Golden Gate to Spruce Goose Race. I am looking for any and all information pertaining to this boat. i am in need of any early pictures that may be floating around of this boat. Would like to find some pictures of it when it was raced. Any magazines with it pictured would be beneficial too. She has some bumps and bruises but is in remarkably original condition and i hope to restore it. Anyone have any ideas were to get build records for this boat? I would also like to authenticate it.

Yeah, those pictures are of it. I have got all that info and have been in touch with the guy who runs the site as well as other owners of the boat. It's all great information but I was wanting to do do a deep dive into the history. Most of what I have found is from what others have "said" it is. Looking for definitive evidence so to speak. I would like to be able to trace back the hull number or something.
