OK. So the Avanti is in Sarasota in storage for sale. Not much action,
Thinking to bring it out to CA, have it on a rack at Lake Tahoe. What's gong on at that lake? Will I feel ok? any others crazy peeps running around in performance boats? Should I ? I hate to be with out the boat, paying for storage and not even using it.
Comments? Input?
Thanks

Sure you can. Lots of boats stay on mooring balls, which would put you at the marinas mercy for getting to and from your boat. There are also more normal marinas and yacht clubs though. The lake is almost exclusively formulas, cobalts, and wake boats. It’s not like anywhere else I’ve boated, amazing and very unique. Extremely cold water.

Years ago, I participated in the last POPRA boat race on Lake Tahoe. We were accused of polluting their drinking water, and treated like second class citizens. I have no desire to ever go back there.
