Need a new heim joint for my tie bar
One of the heim joints for the tie bar on my 30' Scarab is sloppy and falls down past the inner spherical bearing. Where can I find a new heim joint to replace it. This is the original Mercruiser tie bar that came pretty much standard on all Scarabs.

Agree, I found one of mine cracked from when the drive drifted down over the winter. McMaster Carr had them in stainless L and R hand threads. They were like 3/4 fine thread pattern. The tie bar was on my 82 28ss with TRS.

Ruffstuff specialties has a great selection of Heims that you WILL NEVER break. I am sure they’re not the same style as your previous heims but you can buy in a set of two cheaper aswell I believe. Make sure you get a left hand + right hand and get the bungs aswell

Russ stuff heims
I am a four wheeler as well as owning a Scarab, I use the ruff stuff heims on my tie bar. My Panther is trailered and not in salt water, the Ruff stuff heims work very well.
They mainly cater to off-road
world and use their heims which is how I ended up ordering heims for my boat from them. They also have stainless washers that are designing to keep the heim from coming off the ball if they fail, I used these also just for insurance.
