Default Thru hull exhaust hose getting hot on one side!!! Help!!!

Hello I have a 88 senza Larson v220 with a Omc 460 with thru hull exhaust. The problem I have is at low speeds just above idle like slow no wake areas my port side exhaust hose gets hot and you can smell the rubber getting hot. The odd thing is I believe I have good water flow and the manifolds and risers are cool to the touch. The engine was running about 150 or so and the manifolds were just under that but the hoses were up around 200 degrees. I have checked the risers for blockage and it looked ok. I also pulled the hoses off the thermostat housing going to the manifolds and water was shooting out good. Also checked the water pump and it looked good but I’m going to put a new one in still. Any help would be awesome not sure what is causing this! And also looking for prop suggestions as the boat takes for ever to plain out has a aluminum 3 blade I think 17 or 19 pitch I’ll have to double check
