I bought AFR heads and the head accessory holes are too small, has anyone drilled them to 1/2" threads. THe Mercruiser accesories are all for 1/2" studs to hang on.

1/2 inch or 7/16's........I had the same issue on some 540's, I think one end of the AFR head is 3/8 and the other end is 7/16 ? been a while tho

I had to drill them to 7/16 fine on Darts a couple of times, not a big deal

Just use 3/8 bolts a little loose is just fine.

I used 3/8" bolts with sleeves so no slop. Went to the local hobby shop and bought some brass tubing.
