Default Fountain Trim cylinder

Looking for help finding a trim tab cylinder assembly for a 2004 Fountain 38 EC. This is the cylinder that's mounted on the trim tab itself. The tab will drop down if the boat sits and its leaking fluid out. Any help identifying this tab and cylinder would be greatly appreciated.

Likely a 280 k plane. Any hydraulic shop should be able to rebuild them

Thanks. Something we're looking for quickly. I see two part numbers listed (845739A10 and 844222A1). The second part number seems to be discontinued - any idea how we determine which one we need?

I believe the pin diameter is different. The old set had the K on the tab the newer set has the M.

Pull it apart, see what style seals you have, measure them...and go on McMaster and order new seals. Easy to rebuild if you are remotely mechanically inclined (asssuming the cylinder and rod surfaces arent damaged). Did the same thing with my steering cylinders this spring.
