Time to let the "cat" out of the bag so to speak...

Had a GREAT time with my 290sc, but have been looking at getting in to a bigger twin engine, mostly to appease my wife, who is afraid of water...
(AND still be able to run 100 + without spending 25k on a drive for a 1000hp single engine)
My 290 rides good in the rough if you stay on top of it, however, my wife WON"T stand in the bolster and doesn't enjoy catching air...
So on most busy weekends, I'm regulated to 40 MPH or so when she's along..

Been a FUN project.. Didn't always go as planned but I Learned a LOT !

Best news is, she's (the boat) going to a buddy of mine who will treat her as good as I tried to ...

Replacement is an Awesome 31' Thundercat with 525's
Needs a little work, but it's a SOLID hull, and I bought it right...

Haven't even gotten to drive it due to the marina burning up the sea water pumps they JUST installed....
It should be in Texas next week..

Congrats on the new boat!! Fully understand your concerns with the Velocity. I'll be listing mine this fall for similar reasons. Really like the new Cat.
