Talking what can i expect from 750hp

I own a 2001 donzi 26zx and I just finished a build and took the original 454 and built a 496 stroker. its also supercharged with a procharger that is intercooled. was on the dyno yesterday and it pulled 756.6 hp at 5700 rpms and 762 lbs of torque. the stock 454 with 6lbs of boost did 75-77mph. I am assuming my hp was in the upper 500's on that motor as it was never on the dyno and I bought it with the blower already installed. we have increased boost to 9psi on the new motor. I was running a 28 pitch 4 blade that was labbed on the old setup. I have a maximus 28p 5 blade for the new setup I have not labbed it yet as I want to see where my rpms sit on a water test. can anyone with knowledge of this boat tell me what kind of speeds I should expect and if I have the right prop for this package. my drive is a bravo 1xr racing drive with a 1.50 ratio. I'm a couple of weeks away from the water test and would love some input for anyone.

Amazing what a Bravo will take with a little brains and discipline going in to it.

But this is not why we power boat.

It should run Mid to upper eighties (hope it has external steering), mine would run 80 in ideal conditions with a M1 and 5lbs of boost on a stock HP500. The chine walk will stop as you drive through it usually in the mid to high 70's. There used to be a guy on here years ago that ran over hundred in a 26zx with like 850hp but said it was super sketchy once it's on the small pad. I talked to him a couple of times I believe his name was Bill and he used to be active on the Donzi sites as well. Also it will love to eat basic bravo drives too hence reason mine is back to naturally asperated and a XZ. They are heavy for a single drive configuration but work well with mild power.

I did add a dual ram hydraulic steering system to the boat for the added power. and I have a racing xr drive that I replaced last year but I assume I will have redo that shortly as well.

Before the 5 blade did you ever get prop slip numbers for a 4 blade? Just tuned a 26 corsa twin step on water today, stock 502 mag w twin vortec superchargers, boats missing something, perfect afrs, ok timing, hits wall at 4300/60 mph 5 psi boost w 26 labbed. I think guy got a 1.36 drive by accident, was 30 miles from my shop so never pulled drive to check gearing. his prop slip calcs at 12% w 1.50s, 23% IF it had 1.36 accidentally put in when he had drive built, wondered what kind of slip you've seen, thanks, Smitty
