Jeff, call Rich or Alex at East Pier Marina 716 245 6795. Ask them. I know there is a nice public ramp near them but don't know much about depth etc. If you can't get East Pier try Bow and Stern 716 2316. Both places know performance boats.

The nice public place you are referring to is Gratwick park. Nice ramp but it might be tight with a 45- use the ramps on the left side, they are longer I think. I launch a 38 there with no issue at all.. Also there are races in the river off Gratwick this weekend so I'm not sure how accessible it will be. East Pier has a hoist and can lift boats out if the trailer is set up for a sling- ask for Rich when you call, do not ask anyone else. The Small Boat Harbor in buffalo has a huge ramp that could easily do it, just need to make sure the entrance/ exit from the marina to the road is managable. The Erie Basin marina in Buffalo accommodates everything that shows up for the poker run but I've never personally launched there. Let me know if you need any help and I'll stop by.
