Default Zeiger steering issues

So....father in law borrowed the boat, got it back and noticed some paint on the lower unit had been worn off like the drive was in the sand. Went out to use the boat thr next day and the steering was not right, constantly steering right. I had a hose that I knew was on its last leg so I replaced it and bleed the system, still isn't right. I can grab the drive and push it to the port side, I can't to the starboard. Is it possible there is more air?? I'm thinking the ram may need a rebuild, I'm hoping I can find a rebuild kit and just bring it to a local hydraulic shop and have it rebuilt. Summer in Vermont is way to short to be messing around! Thanks

If you can move the drive you have air in the system

The drive only will move in 1 direction, and I have bled multiple times, there is no air coming out. I called Paul Everett today, super helpful, explained the symptoms and he thinks a rebuild will correct my issue. I elected to just get the rebuild kit and have a local hydraulic shop rebuild it. If I had more time to kill I definitely would have sent it to the factory for rebuild, price was very reasonable.

I can vouch for that! Local shop had huge backlog of work so I sent my ram to Zeiger and they rebuilt it and sent it back real fast. Top notch customer service.
