Anybody know where I can get a new or used SSM3 oil fill plug?......it cracked on the perimeter while tightening......I believe it's a 7/8" size and is located on the inside transom wall.........Thanks, Scippy

I can look tomorrow but I think I have a couple in my tool box. been in there for 20 years so I am guessing I dont need them. I will let you know and if so you can have it.

I had to make one on the lathe for a SSM V . Ive also just
put an external bottle on them .

I have two that if memory serves right they were pulled when new so we could put bottles on the inside of a race boat. PM me your address and I will send them out to you.

got your PM. I will drop them in the mail in the morning. I think these came from when I built Reggie's red white and blue 40 Fountain race boat so that tells you how long they have been in my tool box. after all this time I am sure that in the next few months I will suddenly need them after giving them away. LOL

Today I received the (2) ~ SSM3 oil fill plugs that Steve Schmidt (compedgemarine) sent me.........The great thing about Steve is first he stepped up (without reservation) to offer to help a OSO member who needed parts.
Secondly and most importantly, he followed through with sending me those parts with no cost to me (postage included) from his spare inventory.........I looked up the the retail value of just "one" SSM3 oil plug from a Merc
cruiser affiliate, there $39.00 each and he sent me 2 Wow!!.........He did this with generosity & without consideration to cost & the backup supply to his stock just to help a OSO member!........Way to go Steve...Cool GUY!!!
