Default Prop Deal Gone Wrong

Want to preface the story with...not looking for money to be returned just want to solicit opinions. Not gonna name drop either but these were purchased from OSO. On to the story.

Last year we cracked a LH prop...during my search of new ones I came across a pair that was deemed “in good shape, no cracks, need nothing”. I say fine I’ll take them and make the payment. Got them in...they were shiney and from the outside looked good. Honestly don’t remember inspecting them at all. Shame on me. Threw them on and went boating.

Fast forward to this year and im noticing the inside of the hubs are completely rotted. To my dismay now I have to throw them away and find new ones again. Should I be pissed that the seller wasnt straight forward or should I be pissed at myself for not looking them over at the time of sale. Either way this sucks....here are some pics of prop and texts. What do you think?

Here is the condition of the prop. It’s un-usable...to the people wondering if they were deliverable in good shape and corroded over the year. We don’t keep our boat in the water and always run thru fresh water (river) on the way back to the marina.

Whether I should be pissed that the seller duped me or if I should be pissed at myself for not inspecting them when I received them...lol.

Basically have $600 paperweights now!!!

It’s a buyer beware world especially with used boat parts. Many of us are too busy to pop open a box the day it arrives, but after that amount of time and use it’s on you.

That’s rotted out? I see some scale but is it really worse than the picture?
