Default Key West Race Boat Count

So do we have any idea how many boats are going to show up for Key West?

I am still on the fence of whether to go this year or wait and see. Yes the parties and Poker Run boats add to the whole picture but the races are what I am there for.

Pro Stock and Supercat should have good boat counts. No clue on the other classes. Will be interesting to see how full the new VIP tents are out on the Mole. The one tent will be taking up seawall space where a lot of teams and spectators hung out to watch the races.

Just like Knot 4 Me said, the Supercat from what I've read should have most of the regulars coming. WHM for sure, Jimmy Johns, M-Con, AMH, Pro Floors.. I'm not sure about Graydel CJ Grant Racing since Key West is not listed on their schedule. The old Cleveland Construction boat should be there. It doesn't appear that any of the bigger Class One boats will be there or a lot of the smaller classes due to the costs and commitment with OPA. I would predict no more than 30 boats.

30 Boats is not bad compared to SBI that only had 39 boats there last year. Wish it was the 50+ OPA has been getting to show up but better than what we first thought.

Now decision time and trying to put everything together without getting totally screwed with the stupid rates being short notice.
