Default New Saber 41

Saber Marine has a new 41 listed in the Classifieds. Interesting upgrade to the timeless Apache design, not bad pricing either.

I was just checking that out in the classifieds... pricing is definitely competitive. I will be following to see how it comes out. Not real familiar with the big sabers other than Clifford or wicked won... both awesome machines, but I think to say this will be equal is yet to be seen.

Love it....something new that doesn’t have a top, bussle or multiple appendages clamped on the back of it

Sabers are cool, but there is only one Apache! I'd lean towards Hammerhead (full Saccenti rerig) for less $$ and use the rest of the cash for fuel!

Hammerhead is almost 30 years older, rerig is 10 years old, straight bottom, old engine technology. The new saber will probably run the same speed with 700's as hammerhead does. Doug builds a strong boat. At his pricing, that's about half of anything else that's 41ft. Apaches are definitely old school cool though.

not picking on the product/build.............just commenting on the price point on going with the original.

Hammerhead is sweet, but hard to argue with new, fresh machinery and a warranty to go with it. Not to mention the ability to finance as new and insure at replacement value.

Hell ya. I love it.

I hope there’s at least a small market for stuff like this.
