Default Converting twins to a single

Hey Gang,
I'm thinking of converting a 29' Profile V-hull from twin BBC's to a single - this boat has a notched transom and if I center the Bravo One drive - the X-dimension is at 13" - my buddy has a 27' Profile V-hull with a notched transom and his X-dimension is at 7 1/2 inches Any thoughts, recommendations pictures etc. Am I dreaming?? Really don't want to keep it a twin, but if that's the only option your feedback is GREATLY appreciated

Brochure states 4600 dry weight with 106 gal belly tank - I've owned a 2002 29 V-hull Profile non-notched single with a stock 502 EFI it ran 65 4-adults, 1/2 tank and moderate chop - regretted selling it so that's why this project is in my sights LOL! Not needing a rocket
