Default Outerlimits Outboard Push Moving Forward With Sport Cat and Sportboat

Look for two new outboard-engine models—a catamaran and a V-bottom—from Outerlimits in 2020, https://speedonthewater.com/new-boat...-and-sportboat.

Looking forward to seeing that 29 with twin outboards and seeing how it runs. 300's? F that, throw the 450's on 'er. I always wished twin I/O's would've fit in it. It's really a cool little boat.

I’m sure that will be everyone’s first thought on the HP decision for this boat but I have yet to hear a negative thing about the 300’s. Tons of lower end torque. Time will tell I suppose but I believe this will be a great offering from outerlimits.

What's the weight difference of twin 300 whackers compared to the single 600 & drive? Wonder if it'll perform better (faster) and /or will it negatively affect the CG.

Are any of these new creations left from Mike's designs that he had milling around on the table for the future or are they all from new ownership?

Nice to see new things coming out for OL - the crew there deserves it!

well the 29 was definitely one of Mike’s creations but the new 36 outboard cat is a new design that’s obviously developed out of the interest of the popular mid sized outboard cat market. Absolutely good things happening at OL . Exciting to say the least.

I couldn’t answer that one correctly so I’ll leave that for the professionals. But it’s certainly an intriguing option considering the outboard market being the way it is right now.

Tank , I will also say there is a ton of thought going into this build. Outboard height , center of gravity ect ect. This will be a cool boat when it’s done. The guys at OL are excited about the future for sure. They will have an sv 50 in the poker run village this year stop by and say hi to the guys and talk some shop!

Pretty sure it’s an SL 50 that will be in poker run village. Or at least the one I put a cover on this afternoon that’s heading south is an SL lol
