Default 2005 525 EFI help

Have an '05 42 Fountain with virgin 525s and zero issues. Was winterizing yesterday and saw a 2-wire connector from the wiring harness at the right rear of the starboard motor unplugged. I plugged it back together and then looked at the port motor and sure enough it was there and still plugged in. I haven't noticed anything wrong! Any idea what that connection is for? I tried to look online but I'll probably need the service manual to look it up.

Thanks guys!!

Picture of the plug? There are different connections for smartcraft functions.

The two wire plug is unplugged for certain smartcraft setups the way I understand it. I had to unplug mine as they both fed power up and you couldn’t shutoff that engine till both keys were off.
