With the new 400 and 450 stuff we've reached a new age in technology. This 39 foot catamaran weighs 6,000 pounds!

$ per HP combined with fuel efficiency and ease of maintenance... almost as big of step in evolution as going away from Merc 2.5's for the DFI engines that didn't smoke and could shift with the engine running without taking out a gear case.

Besides, short of a few blasts to find out how fast a rig actually runs, most of these boats are running at 80% as high speed cruisers with the reliability of start and go everytime
